Amy was born and raised in the woods of Alaska, until one fateful day when a glacier broke in two and she floated out to sea (curse you, global warming!). Separated from her family, she was adopted by a pack of wild polar bears who took her in and taught her everything they knew about comedy.

Today, Amy Bean is an artist, ghost-whisperer, and part-time Tooth Fairy.

Lelaina is pure bean through and through, hailing from the homeland of Bean Town itself, Boston, MA. Before Boston, she lived in the great city of Chicago, home of The Bean. After moving to Pittsburgh, a city tragically lacking in bean-themed landmarks like her previous homes, she felt an uncontrollable urge to find other beans.

Lelaina is a playwright, director, popper of corn, and honey enthusiast.

Little is known about Raquel’s origin story. Is she a spy sent to learn the secrets of musical improv so it can be weaponized? An alien on a mission to understand humanity? A witness to a crime living in witness protection from the mafia? Yes to all of the above.

Raquel is a medical doctor (the other Beans’ mothers are so proud they landed a doctor). She is known to howl at the moon and is often suspected of being a werewolf. But of course she’s not. She’s an alien.

Michael was born in Canada, handed a hockey stick, and told to go “oot” into the world and be polite. He recently cracked the list of the Top 100 Funniest Canadians, right after Mike Myers and just ahead of Ryan Reynolds on a list he made up himself and recites every night as he falls asleep.

Michael is an author, brain shepherd, doodle dude, and puck pusher.

String is an acoustic guitar. Before becoming a guitar, String was a mahogany tree that provided a home for a family of squirrels, until he was chopped down, ripped away from his home and family, and mutilated into the shape of a guitar.

Things only got worse from there. Now String is subjected to a fate worse than death: having to listen to hours and hours of musical improv comedy.
